The Jackson Classic Golf Outing will be held September 3, 2008 at Plum River Golf Course, 42998 45th St.,Preston Iowa, starging at 2:00. The public is invited for a fun day of golf, catered dinner and prizes. Event is $50. and includes green fees, golf cart, dinner. Join us! 800-342-1837 "Great Places" Award given to Jackson County by State of Iowa Cost share funding and technical support will expand projects that will add to Jackson County's historic, recreational and tourism resources. These projects include: bike trail and canoe access development, handicapped accessible sidewalks, Bellevue Mill Creek walking trail, renovation of the historic Clinton Engines building, restoration of the 1876 County Insane Asylum.
