Caves State Park

recreational areas to showcase its scenic beauty; two state parks,
nearly 30 county parks and recreational areas. Along most of the
Jackson County's eastern border is the Upper Mississippi Fish
and Wildlife Refuge. Slicing through the county is the scenic
Maquoketa River. Nearly every town has a community park as well.
Maquoketa Caves is probably Iowa's most unique
state park. The park contains more caves than any other state
park in Iowa. A beautiful trail system links the caves, formations
