Services Provided include:

Land and Records Management: Our office maintains and records official records of documents affecting title to property and miscellaneous documents. These records date back to 1839.

Vital Records: We register and issue certified copies of birth, death and marriage certificates. Our marriage records date back to 1850. The birth and death records date back to 1880.

Marriage Licenses: These may be applied for in our office.

Boat, Snowmobile and ATV: We issue registrations, titles, and liens.

Hunting and Fishing Licenses: We issue all hunting and fishing licenses including deer and turkey.

Passport Acceptance Agent and Passport Photos: We have the Passport Applications available in our office. We assist customers in completing and mailing these applications. We also have the capability of taking the passport photos that are required to be submitted with the application.

Statewide Iowa County Land Record Information System (CLRIS) available for e-submission service. Attorneys, other real estate, closing agents and other authorized parties can submit documents to a single web site for recording in any Iowa County. Go to http://iowalandrecords.org/portal. Anyone can register as a public user.
